The proposal in the following letter was sent to the CEOs of McDonald’s in Australia and the United States on Friday, January 31, 2014. On February 24, a response was received from the McDonald’s Customer Service section in Australia thanking us for the letter and explaining that it is McDonald’s policy not to accept new ideas from outside the Global Corporation. Their letter further stated that they hoped we understood their decision and it is certainly no reflection on any product that we may have to offer. They wished us well with our business.
Because of McDonald’s response, we are now opening the offer to any others who may be interested in investing in the McNaturals name and products which are designed to help people acquire good health and immunity efficiency.

The purpose of this letter is to offer McDonald’s an opportunity that we believe will bring real benefits to your supportive customers and your international company.

We salute McDonald’s as the world leader in pioneering fast foods and believe that if McDonald’s included the McNaturals name and menu items into its stores (perhaps similar to McCafe), it would be a natural expansion of your brand with strong appeal to the current global interest in healthy eating.
We would welcome an opportunity to discuss a basis for an association. Our unique organic recipes and the transfer of Intellectual Property and naming rights of McNaturals would be available to McDonald’s on an agreed-upon basis. We envisage part of the consideration would be allocated to Ronald McDonald House and Foodbanking.

These could be adopted by towns and cities everywhere in any language and with potential to become a unique Blue Mountains export industry.
The action was implemented as part of ‘Art Street’ just prior to the 2013 Blue Mountains Winter Magic Festival in Katoomba. The goal was to brighten dull-spots and appropriate empty spaces around the town, with colourful laminated placards of meaningful wise quotes.
The quotes were selected from community submissions and from sages through the ages. They are brief reminders of self-evident truths, practical knowledge and useful wisdom; clear, simple and easy for most people to understand. The quest is to share a wealth of universal wisdom to inspire beneficial outcomes for the many local people and tourists who visit this spectacular Blue Mountains City of Katoomba.
The purpose of Mind-Vitamin quotes is to help uplift moods, enhance optimism, increase positive mental health, eliminate anxiety, depression and pessimistic thinking, and help enable feelings of greater peace and happiness.
Places where Mind-Vitamin Thought-Seeds would be usefully displayed are on: public walls; railway stations; homes; schools; hospitals, factories, and community, youth, aged care and neighbourhood centres. If used in juvenile and refugee detention centres and adult correctional facilities, they would probably have a lasting beneficial impact on everyone who absorbs them.
The Mind Vitamin placards are artistically presented and laser printed on size A3 card, laminated and cleverly affixed up high and out of reach but still easily visible to passers by. The precise details of the “victory plan” Zelensky plans to present in separate meetings to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are unknown, having been closely held until they are presented to the American leaders.
But according to people briefed on its broad contours, the plan reflects the Ukrainian leader’s urgent appeals for more immediate help countering Russia’s invasion. Zelensky is also poised to push for long-term security guarantees that could withstand changes in American leadership ahead of what is widely expected to be a close presidential election between Harris and former President Donald Trump.
The plan, people familiar with it said, acts as Zelensky’s response to growing war weariness even among his staunchest of western allies. It will make the case that Ukraine can still win — and does not need to cede Russian-seized territory for the fighting to end — if enough assistance is rushed in.
That includes again asking permission to fire Western provided long-range weapons deeper into Russian territory, a line Biden once was loathe to cross but which he’s recently appeared more open to as he has come under growing pressure to relent.

Italian police have seized dozens of forged artworks attributed to famous artists such as Picasso and Rembrandt in what authorities have called a “clandestine painting laboratory.”
The investigation, led by the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, the country’s arts and culture police, and coordinated with the Rome prosecutor’s office, started when authorities began searching for fraudulent works that had been put for sale online, according to a press release issued by the police.
Police said they found a total of 71 paintings, adding that the suspect was selling “hundreds of works of dubious authenticity” on sites like eBay and Catawiki.
Paintings attributed to the likes of Pablo Picasso and Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn were among the works of art.
There were also forged pieces purporting to be from Mario Puccini, Giacomo Balla and Afro Basaldella, as well as several other celebrated artists.
The workshop where the paintings were being produced was located by police to a house in one of Rome’s northern neighbourhoods.
Authorities arrived to find a room set up solely for the production of counterfeit paintings. Among the materials seized by the police were hundreds of tubes of paint, brushes, easels, along with falsified gallery stamps and artist signatures.
The suspect, described by authorities as a “forger-restorer,” was even in possession of a typewriter and computer devices used to create paintings and falsify certificates of authenticity for the fraudulent pieces.
One tactic the suspect used was to collage over auction catalogues, replacing the painter’s original work with an image of the fake art he created, police said. This would give the appearance that the fake painting had been the real one all along.
Police also found various works still in the process of being made on the forger’s table bearing the signatures of different artists – leading them to believe that the suspect had created them recently.
This is far from the first time that Italian authorities have unearthed forged artworks. Established in 1969, the Carabinieri art police are specialized in combatting crimes relating to arts and culture.
In 2023, they recovered thousands of artifacts stolen from graves and archaeological digs.
